ABOUT IMAS

IMAS is:

• IMAS ( Indiana Masters and slaves/submissives/switches) is a pan sexual organization based in Indianapolis and open to anyone who is or wishes to be/or learn about the BDSM Lifestyle. (see our Mission Statement)
• A “Paid Membership” organization. Our annual Membership dues are $25 per person.
• Managed by a five(5) person Board of Directors. Made up of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, “At Large 1”, ”At Large 2” Directors. 
• Has adopted the following policies and rules:
• Bylaws,
• Code of Conduct,
• Safe Space Policies
• Dungeon Monitors Rules. 
• (All of these are intended to allow for the safe and enjoyable practice of the BDSM Lifestyle.) 
• Most Notable aspect of IMAS Membership is that as an IMAS Member your signature on the Code of Conduct binds you to our single most important rule. Which is:
• “As an IMAS Member, I am a representative of our organization and I agree from this point forward to conform to the Code of Conduct in my life, regardless if it is an IMAS event or not.”
• IMAS hosts multiple yahoo groups
• IMAS Members Only Yahoo Group - This group is for our “paid Members” Members discuss internal IMAS matters as well as updates on parties and other IMAS Member Only Events. We also use this group to discuss community issues where IMAS has a presence and our various subcommittees organize and plan our involvement in such events.
• IMAS Open Community Yahoo Group - This group is an open conversation group. We do not monitor or censure any post in this group and as long an you have a yahoo profile or Yahoo 360 account with your age (over 18) visibly noted, we welcome anyone to join. (Please note that we do reserve the right to modify any open group member for any improper behavior or personal attacks on other members their views or beliefs.)

MISSION STATEMENT

IMAS (Indiana Masters and slaves/submissives/switches) is a private organization of individuals who are actively interested in BDSM activities. Upholding Honor, Integrity, Trust and Honesty above all else, we have founded this organization upon the principals of tolerance and acceptance of diverse lifestyles and practices. We shall continuously strive to provide a safe, supportive, social and educational environment for people interested in alternative lifestyle practices, while differentiating between abusive behavior and the many different expressions of Total Power Exchange within a consensual relationship.

IMAS Open Yahoo Group

IMAS hosts an open community yahoo discussion board. This is a place to share idea, ask questions and get advice from others in and around the local community. We do not censure anyone’s thoughts we simply ask that you follow basic courtesy rules and understand that everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if it is direct opposition to yours.
